A solo artist and performerI have been quite fortunate to maintain a solo performance career, even while producing and conducting. From classical, to jazz, to gospel, to musical theater, I strive to accurately reflect traditions and styles while imbuing my performances with honesty, emotion, and a connection with the audience. My solo credits include: The Miami Bach Society, the Florida Grand Opera, Connecticut Concert Opera, Summer Wind, CONCORA, VOCE, Café Eiko @Japanalia, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and The New World Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Michael Tilson-Thomas.
I am proud to sing with two local professional choral ensembles: CONCORA and VOCE These organizations continue to grow, explore, and present the highest quality choral music in our region. Check them out! |

Voice Lessons/CoachingPosture, relaxation, breathing, vocal function, tone production, sustained pitch, mezzo de voce -these all happen before AND during a performance. Discover how to find your voice, learn its challenges, and sing freer than you have before as we explore our way into and through your gift of sound.

Conducting/Rehearsal TechniquesGood posture and good gesture are not enough. How you stand, speak, hold your arms, hands, and face affect the singers and their sound. Repertoire must be right for your choir. Explore these things as we dig into my bag of tricks (a.k.a. 30 year's experience) and we can address your challenges.

Workshops/ClinicsI enjoy finding opportunities to work with ensembles and/or teachers on a shorter time frame and in a more intimate setting. From in-service teacher training to an extra set of eyes and ears in a rehearsal, it has been a way to assist, enlighten and inspire musicians "in the trenches" where the real work is being done every day
